On Monday, 28 September the Meeting of the Delegates 2020 took place. An event that will surely enter the history books of the International Search and Rescue Dog Organisation.
The Coronavirus has been affecting all our lives for several months now, and has been pushing us to think and implement things differently. This was the case at this year's IRO Meeting of the Delegates. While this event was previously held as a purely face-to-face event, yesterday for the first time attendees were able to participate from home or the office via livestream.
You find the motions to the Delegates here. Motions (1), (2) and (4) to (9) were approved by the Delegates. Motion (3) did not pass.
All votes were carried out via online voting. This was also the case with the election of the IRO Executive Board, which could hardly be surpassed in tension. In the end, the list of the Executive Board decided the election by a narrow margin. The new IRO Executive Board is therefore composed of the following members:

2nd Vice President: Ida Bårris (DK)
Department for Training: Jerneja Ternovec (SI)
Department for Deployment: Markus Bock (AT)
Department for Marketing & PR: Vedran Vukomanović (HR)
