04.09.2017Review IRO MRT Rubble and Reclassification 2017 in Denmark

Mission Readiness – all teams participating in this year’s IRO MRT Rubble and Reclassification strived to reach this status. From 30.08.-03.09. 31 teams from 11 nations (Argentina, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Slovenia) showed their skills on the demanding rubble sites in Ålborg

For the first time, the IRO Mission Readiness Test was hosted in the High North by RDA – Redningshunden Danmark in Ålborg (DK). On 7 challenging worksites all teams faced the strict but fair classification. Furthermore, all completed a veterinarian exercise.

18 participants were successful and are allowed to carry the title „IRO mission ready“ in rubble. Congratulations!

Just like last year, we have been privileged to welcome international guests (Belgium, United States, Denmark) at the MRT who could get a very good impression of the Rescue Dog Teams’ high quality on site.

We want to express our particular thanks to the hosting NRO’s team, led by IRO’s 1st Vice-President Ida Ida Bårris for the outstanding organisation as well as for their considerate and positive attitude – TAK! Last but not least, we want to thank all participants, classifiers and helpers for their work!
